Now is the time to band together and embrace the power of the community! It is up to all of us to help the most vulnerable feel safe & have access to the services they need. You can help ensure our communities most vulnerable have access to the services they need during this difficult time basic needs, housing, support for seniors and mental health support.
How can you give or receive help?
We know that in our communities many people could not, and cannot, afford to adequately prepare for how COVID-19 is affecting their family. Many do not have supports, should they need to self-isolate. Those who already face barriersthings like poverty, homelessness and social isolationneed even more help during this time. The needs will continue to evolve. But, as you protect your family and those closest to you to keep them healthy, we urge you to think of those who may need the help of their neighbours.

Throughout our history, United Way has always been there in times of need. This time will be no different. We have been in touch with our agencies and will continue to work directly with them and community leaders to identify local needs and emerging issues to ensure we are providing support where it is needed most. And as always, funds raised will stay right here in our local community.
